Residential Real Estate-Other then the Mueller area, which had 244 housing starts in 2022, all other newly constructed neighborhood are happening mostly beyond the Austin City Limits in Williamson Country, Bastrop County, Hays County and Caldwell County. In 2022 there "were a total of 22,295 new home starts in the Austin area..." (Austin Business Journal April 7-13, 2023 pp21). The top 25, all with more than 200 starts, listed by ABJ accounted for 7,277 are led by Sonterra with 744 starts located in Jarrell followed by Santa Rita Ranch (Liberty Hill), The Colony (Bastrop), Morningstar (Georgetown), Bar W Ranch (Leander), Shadow Glen (Manor), Sunset Oaks-Hays (San Marcos), East Village (Manor), Sunfield (Buda), Easton Park (Austin 78744), Sun City (Georgetown), Salerno (Round Rock), Kissing Tree (San Marcos), McKinney Crossing (Austin 78744), Parkside on the River (Georgetown), Southgrove (Kyle), Mueller (Austin 78723), Wolf Ranch (Georgetown), Cotton Brook (Hutto), Parks at Westhaven (Georgetown), Sorento (Pflugerville), Larkspur (Leander), Meadows at Mustang Creek (Hutto), Stonebridge Crossing (Jarrell) and Elm Creek North (Elgin).
