Johnson scored at will while Westlake had cold shooting in the first quarter being outscored 9-17. Westlake picked up the pace outscoring Johnson 19-2 in the second quarter to lead at the half 28-21. Both teams came out early for shoot-arounds reflecting a very competitive game by well-matched rivals. The third quarter was about even with Johnson prevailing 13-12 to end the third quarter trailing 35-41. In the last frame Johnson outscored Westlake 19-11 dominating early but with Westlake battling back late only to be matched by Johnson.
