Around Austin-Cat Power, AKA Charlyn Marie "Chan" Marshall and Band at ACL Live covered Bob Dylan's Set from his famous 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert. The set consisted of "She Belongs to Me", "Fourth Time Around", "Visions of Johanna", It's All Over Now, Baby Blue", "Desolution Row", "Just Like a Women", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Tell Me, Momma", "I Don't Believe You", " Baby, Let Me Follow You Down". Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues", "Leopard-Skin-Pill Box Hat", "One Too Many Mornings", "Ballad of a Thin Man" and "Like A Rolling Stone." Unless one really reinvents Dylan's tunes, like Jimi Hendrix's versions of "All Along The Watchtower" and "Like A Rolling Stone" or Eric Clapton's "Born in Time" or Adele's "Make You Feel My Love", it can be an arduous task because really Dylan's voice, besides the lyric, is what brings"life" to his musically simple compositions. Also even Dylan, had to find mneomic devices, to remember his extensive lyric. So Cat Power faced with that challenge was referring to lyric notes early on and her voice, likely from the continual tour, was struggling early on but gained strength in time. The less than compacity audience, both Dylan and Cat Power fans surprisingly young and older, were captivated and appreciative of being taken back to 1966. These narratives have aged well being as relative as ever. A highlight, during the latter and electric part of the show, "Ballad of a Thin Man" rang true in obvious reference to Donald Trump and received one of the strongest ovations." Obviously emotional then, she commented that "now is our time...be patient" and led into the show ending "Like A Rolling Stone."
