Around Austin-You might say "they paved paradise and put up a parking lot" but in reality the Nutty Brown site for a long time "the Hill Country headquarters for outstanding Live Music and great times..."(destinationdrippingsprings.com) has been transformed to a much needed omnibus shopping location by HEB. HEB pays tribute to Nutty Brown's History in images above and below.
At the entrance on both sides are guitars from many of those artisit that called Nutty Brown a stage home over the years. Above a Fender Telecaster from Dale Watson quoted "To The Nutty Brown Texas To The Core."
