Texas High School Basketball-Westlake's Max Purushothaman goes lane for two against the visiting Anderson Trojans. The Chaps jumped out 12-0 until the Trojans scored and lead by eight at the end of Quarter 1 17-9. The Anderson team pulled to within seven in Quarter 2 but then were subjected to Westlake's 11-5 run to end the half trailing by 13 at 21-34. Westake pushed the margin to 23 with a strong Quarter 3 and led 53-30 entering Quarter 4. Anderson was only edged by three in the final quarter eventually losing 70-44. Gavin Paull, Jack Seiders and Max Purushothaman led the way.
