Karakorum Highway, Pakistan. 808 mile Pakistan national highway from Hasan Abdal, Pakistan to China where it becomes China National Highway 314 (Wikipedia). It traces one of the many pathways of the Silk Road and is called the "Eighth Wonder of the World" due to its high elevation and the difficult conditions in which it was constructed.
