Near Malta-On Gozo, Malta a sculpture from the Ggantija Temples likely dating back to 3,600 B.C. According to Jonathan Stern, who took this photograph, "these neolithic people were quite the engineers...[and]...they deftly carved same figurines" without metal tools. Sculpture likely made from the abundant limestone.
