Texas High School Basketball-#35 Wonder Kahozi powered Westlake on an 18-9 run with ten first quarter points finishing with 12 for the game. Wonder scored the first four and then #23 Donovan Lee put the Chaps in front for good with a three to lead 7-5 with 4:47 remaining in the first quarter on Al Bennett court at Westlake. Dripping Springs matched up well but it was Westlake's man-to-man half court defense that stymied the Tigers. #22 Max Purushothaman especially smothered his matchup, he hit a three to extend the lead to 12-7 but really came to life offensively in the second quarter scoring five more and 12 for the game. Score by Quarter: 18-9, 33-20, 45-28, 55-34. Above #22 Max Purushothaman showing renewed offensive vigor.
