Texas High School Basketball-Isaiah Coote finishes a breakaway layup after stealing the ball from Johnson in their set-offense to expand Westlake's lead to eight with 2:32 remaining. The rest of the way Johnson went on a fouling spree but came up short 58-55. In what was a classic game Westlake was seeking to avenge their blowout loss on the road at Johnson January 6th. Johnson came out with hot shooting and great rebounding to lead after the first quarter 17-14. Wonder Kahozi tied the game at 7:39 in the second quarter and hit two ending the first half at 35-32. The third quarter started with #1 Gavin Paull's spin move down-the-lane for a left-handed layup to expand the lead 37-32 but the period ended tied at 44-44. #24 Blake Miri's baseline three put the Chaps in the lead for good 47-44 at 7:03 remaining.
