The third quarter was fueled by strong rebounding and shooting by #50 Kennedy Cannon. #12 Bella Hesse sat only a few minutes, defended well, had four fouls, pushed the ball throughout, scored opportunistically and dropped key shots late. Johnson responded in the fourth quarter using strong point guard play, and defensive pressure to narrow Westlake's lead from 34-22 to 35-38 with 4:19 remaining.
