Texas High School Football-Westlake Chaps handled the visiting Ridge Point Panthers 44-14 in the season opener at Ebbie Neptune Field, West Lake Hills, Texas. The win the first for new head coach Tony Salazar was also the 41st consecutive for the Chaps. Scoring for the Chaps included 4 yard by Jack Kayser (7-7), 3 yard by Nick Acosta (14-14), 32 yard Paxton Land to Keeton Kubecka (21-14), 8 yard run by Jack Kayser (28-14), 9 yard Paxton Land to Bryce Chambers (35-14).
